Exploring the World Like Never Before

getAsset

The human trappings and civilizations have discovered many parts of the globe but yet there are some pristine places on land which have minimum human influence and have not been completely explored,so here are the unspoiled and untouched places on our earth.

Untouched Landscapes in Namibia:

This least populated country in the world has the largest number of Cheetahs, huge dunes, large craters, old petroglyphs, and beautiful waterfalls, Namibia’s landscapes are the most undiscovered in Africa. Namibia is also the only country which in its constitution has secured the life of its ecosystem.

Unleashing Papua New Guinea:

Papua New Guinea is considered the most rural and has some of the least discovered and explored places in the world. The jungles of this country have some of the most undiscovered species of plants and animals according to many scientists. The country’s large number of resources is yet to be exploited because it has been impeded by craggy and rough terrain. The human impact ofinfrastructure development andPapua’slegal system are a great hindrance to exploring the many landscapes with which the country is bestowed.

Land of The Seychelles:

If any country has the largest land conservation on earth it is the Seychelles; 50 percent of the land is conserved by the islands the country has.The islands have many pristine beaches, mostlyuntouched by humans. The Seychelles national bird is the Seychelles black parrot. These amazing islands are lined with powdery soft beaches which are rarely visited.

Paradise in Bhutan:

Well, many consider the land of Tibet as the most unpolluted andunspoiled paradise but its cousin Himalayan mountain Bhutan is even cleaner, why is this? Or why it is cleaner?Actuallyalmost 60% of Bhutan is covered with forests and one quarter of the land is dedicated to National Parks and other protected and unpolluted areas.Bhutan is also known as the Land of the Thunder Dragon. It has jagged mountains and scenic valleys making it a great tourist spot.

FiordlandRegion in New Zealand:

It is interesting to note that New Zealand, on its southern end, has an area that is called Fiordland which is a coarse, wild and rugged region free of human development and influence. Fiordland has high mountains dipping into the rocky waters. The land is believed not to have a significant population. Even the local or natives only rarely visit the land for hunting and fishing purposes and to collect unique jadestones. The air of the land is considered the freshest and cleanest because it blows from Antarctica.

Atacama Desert Chile:

One of the strangest known deserts in the world is the Atacama Desert in Chile which really receives no rain .The land is mainly covered with sand, lava and salt basins. It is to be noted that to conduct astronomical research and observation, this desert is considered as one of the best places for that purpose because it is has a high altitude, dry air, less cloud cover, no radio interference from cities and very little pollution.

So unlike many discovered places which have seen human influence the above mentioned places are really pristine places on earth relatively free of human influence so far!

Do you remember that last scene from the “3 Idiots” movie? Oh! It was mystical Ladakh and that day I decided to visit this enthralling place and witness the beauty of the mountains. The deep blue sky and deep blue lake waters make this place mysterious. There is something in the breeze of Leh and Ladakh that will make all the travelers seem irrational. You can reinvent your life in your way. The place is rich in natural beauty and it is indeed a heavenly experience. I am a bike person and so I head out for a month long journey on my Harley. It’s my baby and my trip is incomplete without him.

Tsomoriri- It is an offbeat tourist spot, which is located 15,000 feet above sea level and normal tourists do not include the place in their itinerary. But, this place is not hidden from true travelers. After you reach the top, you can’t take away your eyes from the natural view. It is completely a toxin free dose for you.

Ladakh- The rough mountains of Ladakh stand still to enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the place. The wildlife species are a must watch of this place. Situated at a high altitude; travelers from low lying areas find it difficult to adjust with the climate change. So, you must visit the place during summer for a reasonable temperature. Chicago – City of History, Charm and Culture

chicago-dreary-bean-1

Upon completion of my graduation, I had full freedom to choose the city I wanted to travel to and visit for my vacation. Without much searching, I decided to opt for Chicago because of the compelling charm I heard this city possesses. Chicago is the third most populous city in the United States inhabiting around 9.5million people.

It is no surprise that Chicago hosts approximately 46million international and domestic visitors every year since it haswhat it takes to attract people to this ‘Windy City’ – the other name given to Chicago – contributing tremendously to the visual arts, novels, film, theaters and music, with the best infrastructure, transportation and telecommunication facilities. It is also a global hub for finance, trade, commerce, industry, technology and more.

With world-class museums and cultural attractions alongside thriving commercial and industrial ventures, Chicago hums with energy. For my short stay, I wanted to understand the maximum of this positive energy, thus decided to include the top attractions of Chicago in my tour.

‘Shedd Aquarium’ houses some 1,500 different species and was my first stop where I enjoyed a 360 degree view of the deep sea life with beluga whales, dolphins, sea-lions, etc. coming as close as possibleto me.

Since I’m an adventurous person, my trip would have gone to waste had I not visited the ‘Field Museum’. The place took me on a journey through 4billion years of life on earth. It contains the remarkable ‘Sue’ – perhaps the world’slargest, complete, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus Rex. I finished my camera’s entire roll of film with pictures of this astonishing place.

I also went to SkyDeck Chicago the day before my departure. The observation deck provides you with a view of the city like no other from its 103rd floor that is 1,353 feet above street level.

Chicago is one place at the top of my recommendation list for anyone who wants to travel and explore something distinct and yet some of the best. Certainly, it’s a city I would want to go toagain and again. It is one of the best places to visit and a city thatpeople can really enjoy. It receives thousands of visitors and tourists each year.

The Exquisite Historical Architecture of Cordoba, Argentina

asd

Being the second largest city of Argentina, Cordoba is considered to be the heart of the country’s education, culture and more. In fact, it is also located in the center of the Pampas and so it also happens to be at the center of the agricultural icon of the country. However, it is not the present state of the city that will drive thousands upon thousands of tourists from all over the world to this region. it is actually what the place has been in the past, and it is about the remnant monuments and buildings that boast of the architectural genius that lived here centuries ago.

Cathedral of Cordoba is and will probably always be on top that list. Its Spanish name, NuestraSeñora de la Asunciónctually means Our Lady of the Assumption. And in no way should this one be confused with the cathedral of Cordoba in Spain – the one that actually was a mosque.

The history of the construction of this church is marred by many changes. While the construction began in 1598 there used to be an old structure here even before that, in 1580 that structure was replaced by another construction that later led to the inaugural of the construction of the cathedral 18 years later. That building then collapsed in 1677 and by 1709 a new but incomplete version was open to public. Moe additions were made to it in 1786 and 1784; some new improvements were made in 1901 and in 2007 it was extensively restored. This is still the oldest church that has been in service in Argentina.

The core of the historic architecture in Cordoba is actually the Plaza San Martin. While it is a construction from the colonial era of 17th and 18th century, it seriously resonates of the Spanish era. Apart from the cathedral, the Plaza also has Cabildo, the second most important building in the region. It is the oldest cathedral in Argentina and talks highly of Spanish facades.

Next up on your list should be the La ManzanaJesuitica, aka Jesuit’s Block. It is actually a series of constructions including a church with a dome like top from the Spanish era and Paraguayan remains. There are many residential buildings and an old school all showcasing the architectural genius of the 17th century. Each one of these places deserves a visit.

Last but not the least, you should pay a visit to the Monasterio de Santa Teresa; a Carmelite nunnery that has been in place since 1717. Being a nunnery, only one part of the building is open to public but it is a masterpiece in itself. You will notice that the building is different in style form the rest of the structures that there are in the city; that is because it is purely Portuguese in style and therefore, much more sober than the rest of the buildings. However, it is pretty ornate and the cross in the center is something that deserves sightseeing. There also are multiple relics, artistic pieces and religious artifacts in the museum adjacent to the nunnery.

This is a city for the ones that have an undying love for architecture, religious buildings and historical structures; but then again, who doesn’t have that.

San Diego Sea World-A Place Where Travelers See A Different Life

San Diego sea world San Diego’s sea world continues to attract hundreds or maybe thousands of travelers every year for more than 50 years. This magnificent place reached the top in entertaining and educating visitors with sea surprises and offers in every corner, which always meet the consent of every single visitor. Sea World San Diego is simply a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums that was founded in March 1964 by four graduates of the University of California. Their original idea was to establish an underwater restaurant; however, this was not feasible, and the idea expanded into a marine zoological park on the shore of Mission Bay in San Diego. The Sea World San Diego started with an investment of $1.5 million and only 45 employees, several sea lions, few dolphins and two seawater aquariums, which attracted 400 thousand visitors in the first year. In that time no one imagined that travelers or pleasure seekers would have much passion for the sea life, but the project managed to make a great name from the beginning. In 2012, Sea World San Diego enhanced its capital with 26 animal habitats, 2 play areas, 10 rides and 20 shows, and that had a positive effect on the number of visitors every year. Concerning the shows, you can find the One Ocean show that features the park’s killer whales along with their trainers, in addition to the Shamu Story that introduces an educational presentation providing facts about killer whales. Nevertheless, there is the Blue Horizons show in Dolphin Stadium that features bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales and aerialists. A lot of visitors also love the Pets Rule show that features cats, dogs, pigs and a number of exotic birds, ducks and kangaroos that usually make children very happy. Once you are inside the park, don’t forget to search for surprises around you, such as the Sea Street Band and a flock of flamingos parades the pathways to spread enthusiasm among guests. Also ask for the Dolphin Interaction Program that allows visitors to touch, feed and play with the dolphins, while the Beluga Interaction Program will allow you to deal with beluga whales. With the celebration of its 50th year, Sea World San Diego introduced a new experience that takes visitors under the water to be able to touch a real shark. This experience cannot be found anywhere else with that much safety and professionalism; so most visitors never miss this chance to have a unique experience.
